Hey guys,
Those who are interested in opening booths during the Games Fiesta please do let me know. The charge for opening a booth is RM50. You can sell anything and everything EXCEPT can drinks and Malaysian food. So basically you can sell food like pizza, mexican food, japanese food, junk food, western food. You can sell drinks like blended drinks, bubble tea and etc (as long as it's not in a can). You can also sell goods if you want.
Please bring your own equipment and you will be responsible for cleaning up after the event. Tables and chairs will be provided although I need to know exactly how many you need so if you want to open up a booth or have any inquires at all, please contact me at 012-6951701 or vanessaho7@hotmail.com
Thanks (:

Dodgeball
(6 on court + 2 subs = 8players) Must have at least 1 girl playing at all times.
Equipment: 6 IDBF Dodgeballs.
1. A live ball is a ball that has been thrown and has not hit any other surface. (Ground, marshall, item outside playing field)
2. Only a live ball can make kills or be converted into catches. If the ball hits any other surface before it hits a player or before it is caught, that kill/catch is not counted.
3. Catch –throwing player is out, one player from catching team returns to play. Players returning must return to play in order of elimination.
4. Live balls can be deflected using another ball. However if live ball hits any part of the defender’s body OR the ball being used to deflect is dropped, defending player is out.
5. Must stay within boundaries at all times. To retrieve ball from outside boundaries, players must exit and re-enter only from the base line.
More detailed explanation here - http://www.dodgeball.com.my/rules.html
Captainball
(7 on court + 2 subs = 9 players) Male:Female ratio of 4:3.
Equipment: Volleyball, 2 chairs.
1. Points are scored by successfully completing a pass to the catcher (person on a chair). Catcher has to be confidently in possession of ball for 3 seconds on top of the chair. Girls score for 2 points. Guys score for 1 point.
2. Footwork similar to basketball or handball but dribbling is NOT allowed. However bounce or rolling passes are allowed. “Travelling” result in a turnover.
3. When a player is holding the ball with BOTH hands, he/she may not be dispossessed. This applies for the catcher as well. One player cannot be in possession of the ball for more than 5 seconds. *
4. Throws that go out though the base line goes to the defending catcher immediately. The first pass from the catcher cannot exceed the half line. Outs through sidelines are as per normal.
TIP : Get a REALLY REALLY tall catcher. Or make sure the other team has a short blocker.
* This is just to prevent any form of time wasting. Calls for this foul are purely referee’s discretion.
Galah Panjang
(7 players no subs) Must have at least 1 girl playing at all times.
1. Defending team fields 5 players. One player on each horizontal line of the court. Defending players can only run side to side alone the horizontal lines.
2. Attacking team has to try and get as many players across from one end to the other. An attack player is “killed” if he/she is touched by any body part of a defending player.
3. Teams take turns attacking and defending.
4. This is something like the old-school video game Frogger. But with humans.
Futsal and 3v3 Basketball
Must have at least 1 girl playing at all times.
1. Normal rules apply.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Here are the awards that will be given out on the night of the event. Please look through the following categories, think hard, and nominate people within the college (who would probably be attending ball) who you think should deserve the award. The top 5 nominees will be shortlisted and voting for the winner will be done on the night itself.
Here are the categories :
1. Prom King
2. Prom Queen
3. Cutest Couple
4. The Joker
5. Most Likely To Win A REAL Academy Award
6. Most Eligible Bachelor
7. Most Eligible Bachelorette
8. Favorite Lecturer/Admin Staff
Those are just the general categories. On the night itself we'll probably change the names of the awards being given to be more in tandem with our theme.
Good luck and Hakuna Matata.
